My main concern with “big name” brands is durability; the flex is gone before there’s a scratch on the shaft. With FUTUR sticks, I no longer have this concern. I’ve been using my stick now for two months and it feels as though it’s right off the stick rack. We now have a reasonably priced product with beyond comparable durability.
My last stick was a BAUER APX2. My newest stick is the FUTUR VORTEX. The FUTUR is lighter, terrific balance and the blade is more durable. Tell me, how for you build such a stick for 150$? Whatever you do pls keep keep doing it as l am a FUTUR customer for life.
Just got the new FUTUR VORTEX Righty, 87 Flex, she's a beauty, so lightweight and exceptional feel and quality.
After using the FUTUR VORTEX for 2 months, I would like to tell you how impressed I am with the stick. It is very sturdy as I have stopped many pucks with the shaft and it has not failed me yet. The FUTUR VORTEX is lightweight with a great kick point and the FP91A has a mid-heel curve which is what I look for in a stick. This stick has been as good as any high priced model that I have used. Thank you Pat Ribble 1975-83 NHL Retired Atlanta Flames, Chicago Black Hawks, Toronto Maple Leafs, Washington Capitals & Calgary Flames
The P91A curve is what led me to Futur hockey sticks. Only company to offer a heel curve (in stock). Great Customer service and great pricing. Stick itself exceeded expectations. Very light, durable and looks great. My daughter loves it and couldn't be happier. Every bit as good as the Bauer APX2 and the Warrior she was using.
